
Our olive groves, with the Taggiasca variety monoculture (monocultivar), enjoy the mild climate of the West Ligurian Riviera and its very high annual exposure to the sun. The land, extending over a system of strips, or terraces, is set in valleys arranged much like an amphitheatre – with a natural protection from the Alpine climate and the semi-continental climate of the Po Valley – a picture of a truly unique climatic environment, ideal for the cultivation of the Taggiasca olive.
